Vintage Flash Minis are a documentation of daily life in a scrapbook worthy fashion. These session use nostalgic methods & filters to capture your now in a nostalgic way that gives all the feels. A perfect option for milestones or gifts for any occasion. Appropriate for families of any age & size & couples.

In-Home Minis
SEASONAL(Feb-April) -$300+ tax

In-Home Minis are a documentation of life in your own (in my traditional editing style). Perfect for milestone sessions or quick updated family portraits. Due to the nature of newborns, newborn sessions may not be scheduled as an in-home mini.

Extended Family Minis

Extended Family Minis are a perfect option for families looking for updated photos of their full family as a group. Extended family minis focus on the GROUP (do not include separation of individual families/individual child shots). The focus is on a portrait of the full family, and interactive/engaging photos as everyone together as a group. The sessions will be located at our property outside of Festina, IA which includes an ample variety of backdrops as well as shade to accommodate those nap time & travel schedules.
*Schedule based on availability at the time of booking. Will work to accommodate weekends, but not guaranteed for every month, as is the policy with all sessions.
FAQ
What session is best for our family?
The best way to choose a package is to determine a goal for your session. Is your goal to document your family's story, including the emotive connections between each of you, the sweet little moments, and also portraits of yourselves as a group and each of your littles? Or are you documenting a major chapter in life such as a newborn moment? If so, the Family & Newborn package is best for you. It is an all-inclusive package that includes all photos from your session to be used and printed however you choose. Extended families also fall within this category, plus an additional $25 per family.
If your goal is simply to capture updated portraits with a few candids in the mix, the Mini Stories Session is a great option for you. It is a condensed version of the story of your family. It is limited to 40 edited images. You will receive a gallery (unedited), in which you will choose the 40 images you would like edited. However, you do have the option after the session to upgrade to having the full gallery edited if you choose to do so after seeing all the special moments captured for the Family & Newborn session price. This option is great for milestone photos, couples, or maternity sessions.
I also offer special packages, such as a "day in the life" session, where I will document the happenings in your home over a 4-6 hour period. A fly on the wall, so you have the sweet daily rituals of your family photographed and yours to keep as your family grows. I also do Fresh 48 (hospital newborn photos), and holiday events.
Finally, I have made it a goal to provide more themed and portrait mini sessions during different times of the year. You will find the current Mini Session Offerings listed below the packages above.
When is payment due?
A 25% non-refundable down-payment is due at the time of reserving your session. The remainder of the cost is due on the day of the session.
Can I re-schedule my shoot?
I always work with families to re-schedule sessions in cases of weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances. Re-scheduled dates will be dependent on availability at the time of re-booking.
Do you travel?
All packages include travel within 20 miles of Ossian, IA. If you fall outside of that radius, pricing for travel will be included in your package proposal.
Do I have to order prints through you?
I do not do printing directly through my website. Rather, I provide an online gallery in which you have the ability to download the full gallery, or individual pictures, in high resolution format and use them however you might like, printing from any location.
