Hi, I'm Sara
I'm a lifestyle photographer located in Northeast Iowa. I am a wife to a husband that I adore, and Mama to our sons Everett and Murray. Those closest to me would consider me to be a strong extrovert, but I have always had a tendency to let my biggest thoughts, feelings, and passions reside in my own head for only myself to experience. The birth of my sons reminded me of how precious this life is, and resulted in a promise to myself to spend as much of it as possible doing what brings me the most joy. The years since have been filled with wonderful adventures for our family. I've experienced so much more love, appreciation, success, and failure than I could have imagined. Photography, and narrating the stories in these photos, has been one of my life's greatest joys.
At home, our family likes to bring our dog Cash to the farm, and our oldest son Everett likes to aggressively point out everything in his sight. Murray is our active little man. He is on the move getting into everything he shouldn't be, but smiling all along the way. We all love being outdoors, and I try to spend as much time running and hiking trails in the area as possible. We were blessed with a recent opportunity to move out to a beautiful spot in the country, where I am excited to host sessions in the summer as a backdrop for the families I am blessed to work with.
